Breeding: exact nursery rules

The installed breeder is a timed nursery system, not instant crafting.

Requirements​

  • Both parents must be level 10 or higher.
  • Eggs cannot be parents.
  • Legendary, mythical and other blocked rare species cannot breed.
  • Two Ditto cannot breed together.
  • Valid pairs are: Ditto + most normal Pokémon; same evolution line with compatible gender; opposite genders sharing a type; or an unknown-gender Pokémon sharing a type aura.

Full process​

  1. Place and interact with the Breeder.
  2. Select two valid party Pokémon. They leave the party and roam at the nursery.
  3. Keep the area/world loaded for 10 minutes.
  4. Return to the breeder and collect both parents and the egg. Make sure you have party room.
  5. Carry the egg in the party for 5 minutes until it cracks.
  6. Carry the cracked egg for another 5 minutes until it hatches.

The child normally follows the non-Ditto parent’s basic evolution line; with two non-Ditto parents, the female’s base line is preferred. Three IV slots are inherited from randomly chosen parents, remaining IVs are random, and nature is selected from a parent when possible.

Tip: Efficient breeding Use Ditto to simplify compatibility, breed only Pokémon you actually plan to train, clear two party slots before collection, and stay near active gameplay so all loaded-time timers continue progressing.
