Every evolution stone and transformation item
Use this page before spending a rare item. Send out the compatible Pokémon, hold the item, then interact with the Pokémon unless the specific machine or battle system says otherwise. The pack normally consumes a successful one-use evolution item.

Mega Stones
Mega Evolution is a battle form, not a permanent species evolution. Give the matching stone/form item to the compatible Pokémon and use the Mega system during battle. One species can have more than one Mega form.

Important: Stone versus Mega Stone A Fire Stone, Water Stone or similar item permanently changes a compatible species. A Mega Stone only enables its matching temporary battle transformation. The names may sound alike, but the systems are different.
